Who can utilize these services?

  • Services are geared toward aspiring expats, transitioning expats, or someone who wants to learn about and embark upon an international experience for work or study. New and current expats are also welcome to use the services to enhance their experiences.

Who are your programs for?

  • We help and support aspiring or transitioning expats in any career field seeking an international career option using their skills, talents, work experience, and expertise.  We also have added insight for those in higher education or seeking to transition into higher education.

Which program is for which group of aspiring and transitioning career expats?

  • Strategy Conversations have been created as dynamic conversations that provide special solutions for a specific challenge area in the international career move process for any career professional.
  • Career Expat Immersives has been designed to build confidence and share practical insight into the working abroad planning process for career professionals from any field. 
  • Career Expat Collective (CEC) is a coaching and community program that combines group and individual coaching with being part of a community of like-minded career professionals who are charting your international pathway. -  More information in August 2024 and the first Cohort in October 2024
  • Thrive Globally in HigherEd (TGHE) has been created for higher education professionals. You can request a customized coaching program this specialized program.

What service(s) are for new relocators (expats, digital nomads, and others)?

  • We support new relocators—those getting ready to board a plane or have just arrived in a new country. We help first-timers, or relocating expats consider, plan, prepare, and strategize for culture shock, adjustment, and adaptation. Our self-paced eCourse, Adjusting and Coping—Living Abroad, helps those moving to have smooth integration.

How are services delivered?

  • Individual and Group services are digital and virtual.  Sessions will be conducted via video conferencing with accompanying tools.
  • All eCourses are via our eLearning platform on The Career Expat hosted on MemberVault.

What resources will I need?

  • You will need stable internet or data access, a working computer with speakers and a microphone, and the ability to use Google Docs and video meeting software (Zoom or Google Meet).

What is the language of service delivery?

  • English

What is the time commitment?

  • Individual Expat Coaching: The time commitment will vary based on your services and needs. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes. Based on your actionable items, additional time will be needed beyond your session for your assignments and follow-up work.
  • Group Expat Coaching: The time commitment will vary based on your services and needs. Based on your selected program, group sessions are 60 minutes over four (4) weeks. Based on your actionable items, additional time will be needed beyond your session for your assignments and follow-up work.
  • eCourses: The time commitment varies based on your approach. Since the e-courses are self-paced, your completion time is flexible, even if the course has a lifespan limit. During the session, you may have created an actionable list of personal follow-up items requiring additional time.

What is the structure of these services?

  • Individual Expat Coaching can be provided as a one-time session or by a multi-session plan.
    • Strategy Conversations - a conversation that aims to dive deep into a specific area with insight and guidance. There are levels of conversations
      • General - a 60-minute exploratory conversation wor career or studying internationally
      • Targeted - a 60-minute focused conversation on a challenging area of your planning that could use guidance and insight.
      • Accelerated - a two-hour conversation on two related topics that provides a boost to your planning and roadmap for your move.
    • Career Expat Immersivies - practical and strategic career coaching for starting your international career path
      • Portfolio Planning - a series of 5 sessions over 5 weeks in a co-working format intended to teach how to reshape and retool your application documents for the international market
      • Job Search - a series of 2 sessions over 2 weeks in a conversational format intended to guide you in understanding job search processes and position announcements in the international market
    • Take Your Career Abroad – Individual (Customzied program upon request)
    • Thrive Globally in HigherEd – Individual (Customized Program Upon Request)
  • Group Expat Coaching is offered in the following format:
    • Career Expat Collective (CEC) -  Four (4) group learning sessions, 1 individual coaching session, and a community) - More information in August 2024 and the first Cohort in October 2024
  • eCourses are self-paced online lessons found on our eLearning platform.
    • Move Abroad – Start You Expat Journey – designed for anyone new to the concept of expat living and seeking to understand how to start their journey with or without using their career
    • Adjusting and Coping—Living Abroad is designed primarily for first-time expats to help them understand, plan, prepare, and strategize their cultural adjustment and adaptation to a new country.

What are the accepted payment methods?

  • Online payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, Keap Pay
  • If you’re a US client upon request, you can also pay via Zelle

What are the cancellation and financial policies?

  • Cancellation: The client may cancel the agreement in writing at any time based on the stipulation of the terms and conditions.
  • Refunds: Services are non-refundable, subject to the terms and conditions of the selected service(s), and bound by the signed client agreement.
  • Deposits and Payment Plans are subject to terms and conditions noted per the selected service.
